Parish Outreach Commission

The Parish Outreach Commission discovers the human needs of the parish and the communities, which will create and support programs to meet those needs. They educate and involve parishioners in social justice issues, to assist those in need within and beyond our parish boundaries.

Hospitality Commission

The Hospitality Commission of St. Joseph Parish is made up of men and women who strive to make everyone feel welcomed who come to St. Joseph Church, parishioners as well as visitors.

Ladies Society

Membership is open to any women 18 years or older. Some of our duties include but are not limited to: offering masses in memory of deceased parishioners and serve as honor guard at funerals; host a Lenten breakfast on Ash Wednesday in rotation with other area churches; hold a Stanley party once a year as a fundraiser; host the mother-daughter outing; assist the building and grounds crew on clean-up of the parish center, rectory, and church.

Holy Name Society

Membership is open to any man 18 years or older. The purpose of Holy Name Society is to honor the name of God through words of praise and by actions of virtue.

Faith Formation

The mission of St. Joseph's Faith Formation Commission is to educate each parishioner to serve the world as a responsible Christian. We believe that every person is unique and valuable because all life comes from God.

Worship Commission

The Worship Commission gives special attention to how the parish community worships and celebrates the Liturgy. The commission will devote sufficient time educating itself regarding the Church's liturgical history and principles of liturgical renewal as outlined by Vatican II.

Vocations Commission

The purpose of the Christian Vocations Commission is to support family life, to encourage vocations to the priesthood and religious life, to help singles better understand their own God-given vocation, to prepare engaged couples for marriage, to provide enrichment experiences for married couples, to work with youth of all ages in their development towards Christian adulthood and to set up a Parish Nursing Program.
